The BIST 100 index, which moved in a narrow band in the first half of the day, dropped to 9,635.96 points as of 13:00, with a decrease of 3.84 points and 0.04 percent compared to the previous closing. The total transaction volume was 34.8 billion lira.
The banking index gained 0.30 percent and the holding index gained 0.38 percent.
Among the sector indices, the one that gained the most was informatics with 0.82 percent, and the one that decreased the most was tourism with 1.66 percent.

Analysts stated that in the rest of the day, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Monetary Policy Committee (PPK) meeting summary, weekly money and bank statistics, and inflation in Germany will be followed abroad. Technically, the 9,500 and 9,450 levels in the BIST 100 index will be supported. He noted that 9,700 and 9,800 points are in resistance position.
