The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has updated the “Imitation or Adulterated Foods” list. 30 new products have been added, from minced meat and meatballs to sunflower oil, from spices to dairy products, which some companies sell to citizens in order to produce them more cheaply.
In the announcement of this list published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as of October 2, 2024, it is stated as follows:
“It has been decided that the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry can make the information it has obtained as a result of the controls made available to the public in accordance with the 6th paragraph of Article 31 of the Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed Law No. 5996.”
“In accordance with Article 8 of the Regulation on the Official Control of Food and Feed dated 17 December 2011; the name, product name, brand, batch and/or serial number of the company that produces/imports the food and feed that has been determined to be counterfeited or adulterated by laboratory results will be published on the official website of the Ministry. “There is a provision that it can be made available to the public.”
