According to the research of Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA), the average cost of living for a family of four in Istanbul was calculated as 66,550 lira.
According to the statement made by İPA, the annual (last 12 months) increase rate of the cost of living in Istanbul compared to July of the previous year was 71.40 percent.
The average cost of living for a family of four in Istanbul was calculated as 66,550 lira in July. The average cost of living in Istanbul increased by 3,026 lira compared to the previous month.
When we look at the price increases of basic consumer goods compared to July of the previous year, we see that one of the most striking price increases was experienced in olive oil prices with an increase rate of 112.87 percent.
