Russia wages war against Ukraine for three years and keeps Ukrainian areas occupied. Russian President Vladimir Putin now has an offer for US President Donald Trump.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered the United States together a joint development of occurrence of rare earths in the Russian parts of Ukraine. “We are ready to work with our partners to work there with the US,” said the head of state in an interview for state television.

Russia have some of the world’s largest deposits in the far north of the country, but also in the Caucasus, in Siberia, in the Far East and the occupied areas of Ukraine known as “new territories”, said Putin. Previously, he had discussed the further development of raw material removal with ministers and other representatives of the government in a video conference.

Trump said in Washington there were efforts to make economic agreements with Russia. “You have a lot of things we would like to have and we will see,” said the US President. “I mean, I don’t know if that will wear fruits, but we would like to do it if possible. You have massive (occurrence of) rare earths.”

Russia marched into Ukraine three years ago and, including the Crimea peninsula, which has been annexed since 2014, controls almost a fifth of the Ukrainian state territory. US President Donald Trump demands compensation and for a continuation of the US support of Kiev Ukraine, among other things, access to the raw material deposits of the Eastern European country.
