Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu, Istanbul Airport-Arnavutkoy metro line was put into service a year ago and 4.2 million passengers on the route reported.
Uraloğlu made a written statement about the Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy metro line.
Recalling that the Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy subway was put into service a year ago, Uraloğlu said, “Thus, we have increased the line length to 161.8 kilometers. 4.2 million passengers were moved to 161.8 kilometers.” He said.
“It has added speed and comfort to the city transportation of Istanbul”
Uraloğlu pointed out the projects they commissioned in Istanbul and continued his statement as follows:
“The project of the century Marmaray, Gebze-Halkali suburban line, Gayrettepe-Kağıttepe-Kağıthane-Istanbul Airport Metro and İstanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Section, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Raylı System Line, Levent-Hisarüstü, Pendik-Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Başakşehir-Çam and Sakura City Hospital We have completed many inner urban rail system lines such as Sahil-Bahçelievler-Güngören-Bağcılar Kirazlı subway and presented it to the service of Istanbulites. “
