The broadcaster’s report that Netanyahu had ordered the army to reduce attacks in the northern neighboring country was “the opposite of the truth,” the office also said. “The Prime Minister has instructed the army to continue the fight with full force.” Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz says there is “no ceasefire with Hezbollah until victory.”
9:58 a.m.: The Israeli army has continued its air strikes in Lebanon, according to local sources. In the morning, among other things, they bombed a community building near Nabatijeh in the south, reports the state news agency NNA.

9:56 a.m.: Ultra-right politicians in Jerusalem have sharply criticized a possible ceasefire between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah militia. “The fight in the north can only end in one way: with the destruction of Hezbollah and its ability to harm the residents of the (Israeli) north,” writes Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich at X.
“We must not allow the enemy to recover from the severe blow he has received and reorganize for a continuation of the war after 21 days.” Smotrich also writes: “Hezbollah surrender or war, this is the only way we can bring the residents and security back to the north.”
9:27 a.m.: According to the military, Israeli air strikes hit around 75 Hezbollah targets in the Bekaa Valley and southern Lebanon during the night. The targets included weapons depots and operational launchers, the Israeli army said.
