At the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), it was announced that ChatGPT would be integrated into the virtual assistant Siri, which can be used on many Apple products, especially iPhones and Macs. At the same conference, Apple also introduced its own artificial intelligence technology, called “Apple Intelligence”, and iOS 18, which will come to iPhones in September.

Reacting to this news, Elon Musk said, “If Apple integrates OpenAI, I will ban Apple devices in my companies. This is an unacceptable security violation,” and in his next post, he wrote, “I will also have visitors to my companies checked at the door to see if they have Apple devices.”

Musk emphasized that he was surprised that Apple was not smart enough to produce its own artificial intelligence and said, “It is patently absurd that OpenAI can guarantee that it will protect your security and privacy.”
