At a time when users are turning to alternative solutions, Anthropic has taken a cautious but strategic step to balance the growth of its mobile platform. Instead of big statements, the company adopts an approach that directly benefits those who use artificial intelligence on a daily basis. This move attracts attention, especially after the recent discussions around the company’s ethical decisions.

Within the scope of the campaign, usage limits are doubled between March 13-27, when server density is low. One of the most striking aspects of this benefit is that it is not limited to paid users only. Free users can also benefit from longer and more frequent chat sessions if they connect to the system during low-peak hours. Anthropic stated that this benefit is automatically identified and does not require any additional processing or activation. However, Enterprise accounts are not included in this campaign.

According to the details, this additional usage right is active every day for approximately 5 hours outside of peak hours. For Türkiye, this means that approximately 14:00-20:00 on weekdays are excluded from the campaign. On the other hand, users can access larger capacity in the morning and evening hours. This system aims to provide more processing power to users, especially in the evening and at night, by balancing resource usage.

The campaign is not limited to the web interface only. In addition to desktop and mobile applications, Cowork also includes tools such as Claude Code, Claude for Excel and Claude for PowerPoint. While a similar test conducted in December only covered a limited number of paid users, this new move stands out as a step aimed at reaching wider audiences.

There is also a strong brand strategy behind this “generous” move. While Anthropic presents the campaign as a thank you to the community, the impact of recent geopolitical developments is not ignored. The company’s abandonment of a major agreement with the Pentagon by not accepting the US Department of Defense’s conditions for technology use made the difference between it and OpenAI even more evident. While OpenAI took over the deal, Anthropic gained a serious reputation, especially among users looking for a more transparent and military-free alternative.

As a result, the increase in users turning to Claude AI seems to be closely related not only to technical performance, but also to values and perception of trust.
