UKRAINE’S EW WEAPON WAS TESTED IN THE USA
Phantom Defense company used its Specter electronic warfare (EW) systems in the USA’s Gauntlet II trials, interfering with the control and display connections of UAVs. The company announced that the systems of all radio-controlled platforms participating in the tests were affected. After successful trials, the Ukrainian manufacturer was invited to new tests and events in the USA.
ELECTRONIC SHIELD ABOVE HEADQUARTERS
Specter PRO was developed to protect military positions, brigade headquarters and critical infrastructure. The system can combine electronic protection covering a wide area with signal jamming methods focused on specific aspects. The goal is to disrupt the radio links that enemy UAVs need as they approach their targets.
MOBILE UAV DEFENSE ON THE FRONT LINE
Specter L, Specter X and Specter XL are designed for mobile troops operating in difficult terrain and weather conditions. Compact systems aim to protect soldiers and vehicles near the frontline against the UAV threat. The proliferation of portable electronic warfare solutions may complicate the activities of Russian reconnaissance and attack UAVs. According to analyzes in global defense media outlets, this technology, which Ukraine uses effectively, is one of the critical developments that can break Russia’s UAV/SIHA attacks and superiority on the front.
IT CAPTURES THE VIDEO SIGNAL OF THE ENEMY UAV
Streamhunter helps detect the threat by capturing image signals transmitted from UAVs. The system works with a command-control network that classifies targets and coordinates electronic countermeasures. It was reported that image signals were successfully captured in trials in the USA; Thus, a defense model was demonstrated that focused not only on signal jamming but also on predetermining the threat.
