43 Turkish companies are among the world’s largest 250 companies

43 Turkish contracting companies were listed among the world’s top 250 companies.

In a statement made by the Ministry of Trade, it was stated that 43 Turkish companies were included in the ‘List of the Top 250 International Contracting Companies’, which is a list of the world’s leading contracting companies ranked by the revenues they have earned in international markets, published by ENR Magazine.

The statement said, “In terms of the number of companies, Turkey ranked second with 43 companies after the People’s Republic of China, which ranked first with 81 companies. The international revenues of the 43 Turkish contracting companies, which brought Turkey to second place in terms of the number of companies, amounted to 18.5 billion dollars in 2023. The share of the revenues of Turkish contracting companies in the total revenues of the companies on the list was also recorded as 3.7 percent. According to the ranking made according to international revenues, the Turkish contracting sector ranked 8th in the world, ahead of the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Japan. China ranked first in terms of revenues with 122.9 billion dollars. In the 2024 list prepared according to the 2023 international project revenues of contracting companies, 6 Turkish companies entered the top 100 companies, while 1 Turkish company found a place among the top 50 companies.”
