Trump administration releases its own video games

The White House is releasing video games reminiscent of classics like “Snake” and “Tetris” to dramatize political themes. Human rights organizations are horrified and accuse the government of dehumanization.
The administration of US President Donald Trump has introduced online video games in which users pick up migrants or close a barrier at the border Mexico can build. The games presented on Thursday (local time) can be found on the official White House website and are similar to classic video games.
One game is called “Rio Run” and is based on the game “Snake”. Users can move the digital version of US Border Patrol Agent Tom Homan across the playing field. The aim of the game is to apprehend as many migrants as possible who have crossed the Rio Grande River at the border with Mexico.
Tetris with a political message
Another game is called “Build the Wall” and is similar to the game “Tetris”. The game description says: “Protect the border from the approaching horde.” The game refers to the massive barrier on the border with Mexico, much of which is already in place and should be completed by the end of next year.

In another game, users can use nets to, among other things, catch bags of money in order to replenish the so-called Trump account. These are government investment accounts for children with U.S. citizenship who were or will be born between 2025 and 2028.
The White House published a video on the short message service It says: “I can’t stop winning. Build the wall. Deport. Fill a Trump account.”
The White House told AFP that the US government is focused on innovation and “telling the story of the President’s many achievements in a way that resonates with every US citizen.” The move is in an effort to “draw the contrast between a culture of fun and winning and the dark socialist vision that Democrats have for the… USA “have to sharpen further”.
