US President Trump is said to be planning military strikes against two countries. When US troops visit Japan, he uses martial language. All news in the news blog.

US President Donald Trump used martial language to invoke the strength of the US Navy. No enemy will even dream of threatening America’s navy, the Republican said in a speech during a visit to troops on an aircraft carrier at the US naval base at Yokosuka near Tokyo.

Trump added that if so, the American sailor would be ready to “smash, sink, destroy and obliterate” the enemies. He added that this was a terrible statement. And that he probably disqualified himself for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Of the military, Trump said: “No one has our weapons, and very soon it will be even stronger and more powerful than ever before.” Trump has been consciously relying on martial rhetoric for some time now. The US government says it follows the principle of peace through strength. Some time ago the government renamed the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of War.

Republican Congressman Lindsey Graham said in an interview with CBS television that US President Donald Trump wanted to inform Congress about upcoming military actions against Venezuela and Colombia after his trip to Asia.

“There will be a hearing in Congress,” Graham said. “This will not only involve possible attacks at sea, but also on land.” He supports the approach, saying Trump has all the authority he needs for such an action. The senator asked soldiers serving in the US military not to listen to voices that would condemn them for a possible invasion: “You make America safe,” the Republican representative added.

The new Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has offered US President Donald Trump an investment package worth billions. The $550 billion package includes investments in shipbuilding as well as increased purchases of U.S. soybeans, gas and pickup trucks, people familiar with the matter told Reuters on Tuesday.

Trump and Takaichi also signed a framework agreement to secure the supply of minerals and rare earths, the White House announced. Accordingly, the countries want to work together through coordinated investments to accelerate the development of diversified and fair markets for raw materials, as the US President’s Office further announced.
