The USA is again blocking Iranian ports with a large military force. Central Command reports new attacks on Iranian facilities.
The US military is again blocking Iranian ports and coastal areas. The naval blockade began at 10 p.m. German time, the responsible regional command of the US military (Centcom) announced on the X platform. This prevents ships from traveling to or from Iranian ports or coastal areas. How long the US blockade will last is unclear. The US military reported that 20 warships and hundreds of aircraft were deployed in the region.
The Iran has that USA accused of putting an end to the framework agreement negotiated between the two countries by announcing a blockade of Iranian ships and ports. Washington Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kasem Gharibabadi said on state television on Tuesday that they had “abandoned – in a sense they have dismantled” the commitments agreed under the agreement under Pakistan’s mediation.

Trump announced the resumption of the blockade on Monday and promised that other countries would have “fair and open” access to the blockade Strait of Hormuz should be possible. The US military says it has launched a new wave of attacks on Iran. This began at 3 p.m. US Eastern Time (9 p.m. German time), the responsible regional command of the US military (Centcom) announced on the X platform. The aim is to further weaken Iran’s ability to carry out attacks on merchant shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, it said.
