Türkiye broke the record in exports: historical level in July

The Ministry of Commerce announced export data for July 2026. Accordingly, Türkiye’s exports increased by 2.9 percent compared to the same month last year, reaching 25 billion 621 million dollars.

With this figure, the highest July export value in the history of the Republic was reached. In July, imports increased by 5.2 percent to 32 billion 989 million dollars, while total foreign trade volume increased by 4.1 percent to 58 billion 610 million dollars.

DOUBLE-DIGIT INCREASE IN PROVINCES DRAW ATTENTION

The Ministry of Commerce drew attention to the fact that the increase in exports spread to the provinces. The fact that many provinces recorded double-digit increases in exports in July was considered an important indicator for the spread of Türkiye’s production and export capacity to different regions.

The Ministry stated that support mechanisms are continuing to strengthen the position of exporting companies in international markets and increase product and market diversity.

161.6 BILLION DOLLARS EXPORT IN 7 MONTHS

Total exports in the first seven months of the year increased by 3.4 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 161 billion 601 million dollars.

The Ministry of Commerce emphasized that it sees the creation of an export structure that produces high added value, is technology-oriented, innovative and globally competitive as a strategic priority.

The Ministry stated that policies and supports for exporters will continue to ensure that exports progress on a sustainable and resilient growth path.
