During his first term, Trump postponed the majority of the Supreme Court – the right to abortion tipped. Even now, the Republican sends a clear message to radical opponents of abortion.
US President Donald Trump and his government demonstratively stand behind the opponents of abortion and thus give rise to protection of pregnanters on their way to a demolition. Trump pardoned several opponents of abortion that were prosecuted for offenses. According to US media reports, there are several activists who were convicted of the blockade of an abortion clinic in the capital Washington in 2020.
In the United States, it is expressly forbidden to deny women access to clinics or to threaten them. This is ensured by the Face Act adopted in 1994. Radical opponents of abortion argued that they only exercised their right to freedom of expression in this way. When signing the pardon, Trump said: “They should never have been pursued by criminal law.”

At the “March for Life”, an annual demonstration of opponents of abortion in the US capital Washington, his vice JD Vance said: “Our government will no longer throw in prison, older, grandparents or otherwise someone”.
The “Washington Post” reported that the Ministry of Justice had instructed that the persecution of such cases was only permitted in “extraordinary circumstances”, or in cases with “considerable aggravating factors” such as “death, serious bodily harm or serious damage to property”. Under the Democrat Joe Biden, the judiciary increasingly passed off against the Face Act.
Vance now emphasized in Washington: “We stand by you, and above all we stand by the weakest and the principle that people who perceive their right to protest in the name of the weakest must never be pursued by the government again.” The Republican also called: “I want more babies in the United States of America.”
Vance keeps commented on the low birth rate and described democratic politicians in the past as “childless cat women”. At the same time, he demanded that childless people have less to say in a democracy and should pay more taxes. He more often tried the conspiracy theory, the Democrats wanted to replace children with migrants.

Abortion clinics are the scene of arguments
In the United States, demonstrators often stand in front of abortion clinics – the mood can be heated up. The opponents verbally press the pregnant women, call them after them. Different laws apply in the states, but these actions are usually legal as long as the abortion opponents adhere to a minimum distance and do not block access to the clinics. Often there are volunteers on site to safely accompany the pregnant women to the clinic.
Some opponents also try to lure pregnant women to Christian facility, where they are to be dismissed.
Supreme Court has tipped the nationwide abortion rights
The topic of abortion moves minds in the United States. According to surveys, the majority of Americans support the right to abortions. This nationwide, which was around 50 years, was overturned by the Supreme Court in 2022. During his first term, Trump was able to significantly shift the Supreme Court occupation due to several sacrifications.
Conservatives had previously tried for decades to tip the fundamental judgment “Roe v. Wade”, which cemented nationwide right to abortion. After all, they were successful in front of the new right -wing conservative majority. Since then, the states have individually decided on their legislation. In many republican states, pregnancy abortions are now almost completely prohibited – in some even with rape or incest.
