The Ministry of Treasury and Finance borrowed 71 billion 963.8 million lira in the government bond auction held today.

In the auction, a fixed coupon government bond with a maturity of 2 years (581 days) and a coupon payment of 18.4 percent every 6 months was re-issued. In the tender, simple interest was 38.06 percent and compound interest was 41.68 percent.

In the tender where the nominal offer reached 62 billion 589 million liras, nominal sales were calculated as 30 billion 447 million liras and net sales were calculated as 34 billion 463.8 million liras.

In the tender, in which the entire offer of 16 billion 500 million lira from the public was met, an offer of 41 billion 441.5 million lira was received from market makers and 21 billion lira was sold to this sector.

Thus, the Treasury borrowed 71 billion 963.8 million lira in the tender.
