Zelenskyj: Dead and injured from Russian attacks

After attacks on Zaporizhia and other cities, Zelensky warns: “Russia is escalating every day.” He also confirms Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian targets.
Russian air strikes on the Ukraine have according to information from Volodymyr Zelensky again caused deaths and injuries. Two people were killed in the large city of Zaporizhzhia, the Ukrainian president wrote on social networks. There were 14 injuries across the country. He also reported attacks on Kyiv as well as the Odessa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia regions.
“It is important that our partners do not forget: Russia escalates every day,” he explained. That’s why tougher sanctions are the USA and the EU necessary. Zelensky confirmed Ukrainian drone strikes on the Ilski refinery in the southern Russian Krasnodar Territory and a defense factory in the Rostov Region.
On Friday, seven people were killed and 59 injured in Russian drone attacks on the capital Kiev. The Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened with even harder blows against Ukraine during an appearance in St. Petersburg. He posed this in response to a major Ukrainian drone attack Moscow on the day of the Russian parliamentary election.
Ukraine has been defending itself against a large-scale Russian invasion since February 2022.
