A space and aviation company in China has put on sale the tickets for the space tourism expedition planned for 2027.

According to reports in the national press, two tickets were sold for 1.5 million yuan (210 thousand dollars) each on the e-commerce site Taobao last night.

The company called “Deep Blue Aerospace”, headquartered in China’s Jiangsu province, became the first company in the country to sell space tourism.

The company, which aims to organize a suborbital expedition with a rocket in 2027, promises to enable passengers to experience the loss of the feeling of weight by carrying them outside the atmosphere to outer space for at least 5 minutes of this expedition, which is planned to last 12 minutes.

The fact that the suborbital expedition will be carried out with a rocket, not a special space plane, will require the company to conduct many unmanned flight tests in the next two years.

It is predicted that with the help of reusable rocket technology, such space travels will be much cheaper in the future.

The company plans to sell more tickets for the expedition next month.
