Scientists have developed artificial intelligence tools to analyze the photos of the faces of people and to identify their biological age.
Researchers from various universities in different countries have worked on the artificial intelligence vehicle called “Faceage” within the scope of the study examining the relationship between face and biological age.
Researchers trained the artificial intelligence vehicle by using photographs and data of 58 thousand 851 people aged 60 or over to ensure that people’s biological age can be estimated through photographs.
Using Faceage, researchers analyzed the facial photographs of the participants, mostly of participants who have cancer patients, found that the appearance of healthy individuals was close to the real age, while the faces of cancer patients appeared to look about 5 years older than their chronological age.
