The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul lost 0.22 percent of its value in the first half of the day, falling to 14,039.81 points.
BIST 100 index, which moved in a downward trend in the first half of the day, fell to 14,039.81 points as of 13:00, with a decrease of 31.17 points and 0.22 percent compared to the previous closing.
The total transaction volume was 81.2 billion lira. The banking index gained 0.16 percent and the holding index gained 0.53 percent.
Among the sector indices, the biggest increase was mining with 2.70 percent, and the biggest loss was financial leasing factoring with 8.93 percent.
Global markets are following a positive trend due to the rise in chip stocks and predictions that there may be an agreement between the USA and Iran.
Analysts stated that the data flow at home and abroad will be calm for the rest of the day, and noted that technically, 14,200 and 14,300 points in the BIST 100 index are resistance, and 14,000 and 13,900 points are support.
