In this regard, Işıkhan stated that the lowest SSK and Bağ-Kur pensions, which they increased to 12 thousand 500 liras in July 2024, were not affected by this proportional increase, and therefore, he said that legal regulation was needed to increase this figure, as in the past periods.

Işıkhan said, “In this context, we are announcing the decision to increase the lowest SSK and Bağ-Kur pension of 12 thousand 500 liras, by the 6-month CPI rate, that is, by 15.75 percent. With this increase, the lowest pension has increased to 14 thousand 469 liras. Our retirees May it be beneficial, especially to our beloved nation.” he said.

Stating that they are always there for retirees and that they have made significant improvements in their pensions and increased them above inflation, Işıkhan said, “While inflation increased by 64.8 percent in 2023, the lowest pension increased by 114.3 percent. In 2024, while inflation increased by 44.4 percent, the lowest pension increased by 66 percent.” The lowest pension for the first 6 months of this year was 15.75 percent, in line with the increase in SSK and Bağ-Kur pensions. “We are increasing it.” he said.
