The challenges encountered, especially in extraordinary situations such as the pandemic, have emphasized the importance of flexible and sustainable solutions in dental practices. Drawing on pandemic experiences, we aim to develop new strategies to deal with similar situations more effectively in the future.”

BEWARE OF IMMIGRANTS!

TDB Chairman İşmen, while drawing attention to the oral health of immigrants by stating that it is a critical issue, said, “Increasing migration movements in the world bring with them serious difficulties in accessing health services. The oral and dental health of immigrants is generally neglected in these difficulties. It has become an inevitable duty for the World Dental Association and the World Health Organization to take action on this issue. “The health expenditures of migrants within the health expenditures of countries should be analyzed, and countries that take on the burden in this regard should be supported by the World Health Organization on a project basis.” he said.
