President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent a video message to the Türkiye Entrepreneur Meeting and the 11th Entrepreneurial Businessmen Foundation Entrepreneurship Awards Ceremony. In his video message, President Erdoğan said: “Dear members of the Entrepreneurial Businessmen Foundation, my dear brothers, I greet you with my most heartfelt feelings. I thank you for your kind invitation, and I pray to God that the Turkish entrepreneur meeting will be beneficial for our economy. The winners are entitled to receive the 11th entrepreneurship awards. I wholeheartedly congratulate our institutions, companies and entrepreneurs who produce, invest, establish new businesses and develop their businesses for Turkey and their achievements both at home and abroad. “I would like to thank all our entrepreneurs, who are our nation’s source of pride with their success. Entrepreneurship is one of the characteristic features of our nation. We have repeatedly observed that every member of our nation can be extremely productive in entrepreneurship and innovation when we provide the necessary infrastructure, education and opportunities.”

Emphasizing the growth and export figures realized last year, President Erdoğan said, “At a time when a radical change is taking place in the global management and economic system, this characteristic of ours brings great opportunities to us. As the government, we have made the Republic of Turkey, which we have made the largest investments in its history in every field, prosperity, We work sincerely day and night to make it a country of peace and tranquility. With our employment of nearly 33 million, we are progressing by breaking records in both industrial production and exports, compared to last year’s 5.8 percent. Our growth rates and our record export figures of 256 billion dollars clearly reveal the reality of a growing and strengthening Turkey. Turkey, which continues to write new success stories by implementing the principles of investment, production, employment and exports, is today the second fastest growing country among the G20 countries. We are aware that in order to achieve our goal of a great and strong Turkey, we need to be stronger in all sectors, especially economy, technology, industry and defense industry. Our entire goal is to leave a country where our young people, who are the guarantee of our future, will be proud of being citizens. I wholeheartedly believe that we will make the 21st century the ‘Türkiye Century’ with your support and contribution, especially our young entrepreneurs. “I congratulate again the valuable members of our Entrepreneurial Businessmen Foundation and those who contributed to the execution of this program, and I greet you with love and respect,” he said.
