In terms of consumer prices, the highest price increase on a monthly basis in November was seen in fresh vegetables (except potatoes) with 29.55 percent, and the highest price decrease was seen in products related to travel materials with 5.17 percent.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) published the price changes according to all basic headings at the 5-level Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose (COICOP).
Accordingly, the highest price increase on a monthly basis last month was seen in fresh vegetables (excluding potatoes) with 29.55 percent. This group was followed by domestic animals with 23.19 percent and eggs with 14.1 percent.
Other products whose prices increased the most in November included medicines with 10.69 percent, ovens, stoves and ovens with 9.65 percent, health insurance with 7.07 percent, and package tours with 6.85 percent.
Last month, the biggest price decrease on a monthly basis was in products related to travel materials and other personal accessories, with 5.17 percent. This was followed by accommodation services in places such as hotels and hostels with 4.84 percent, baby clothing with 4.69 percent and children’s and baby shoes with 3.33 percent.
