Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) mediated the placement of 691,055 people in jobs in the January-June 2024 period.
Minister Işıkhan, in a statement he made on his social media account, said, “The June Statistics Bulletin prepared by İŞKUR and containing data on our services in the first half of 2024 has been published. We facilitated the placement of 691,055 citizens in jobs between January and June 2024. We recorded an 18.3 percent increase in this rate compared to the previous year. We held 1,510,527 individual meetings within the scope of our job and career consultancy services. We visited 445,957 workplaces. We will continue our efforts to ensure employment-oriented growth and to provide job opportunities to our citizens.”
