Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index lost 0.98 percent of its value in the first half of the day, falling to 11,606.94 points.
BIST 100 index, which moved in a downward trend in the first half of the day, dropped to 11,606.94 points as of 13:00, with a decrease of 114.78 points and 0.98 percent compared to the previous closing.
Total transaction volume was 45.9 billion lira. While the banking index gained 0.22 percent, the holding index lost 1.14 percent.
Among the sector indices, the biggest gainer was construction with 0.64 percent, and the biggest loss was financial leasing factoring with 6.22 percent.
Analysts stated that the data agenda will be calm for the rest of the day, and noted that technically, 11,600 and 11,500 points in the BIST 100 index are support, and 11,800 and 11,900 points are resistance.
