Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that today they started a new application in Organized Industrial Zones to accelerate industrial investments.
Minister Kacır said that the allocation of 20.1 million square meters of investment space for 1484 factories in 133 OIZs will be made online today.
Minister Kacır’s statement is as follows;
“
Today, we are launching a new application in Organized Industrial Zones to accelerate industrial investments.
Under the coordination of our Ministry, the allocation of 20.1 million square meters of investment space for 1484 factories in 133 OIZs is carried out simultaneously and online. Allocation applications will take 3 weeks.
In addition, 2 million square meters of area is offered for pre-allocation in 6 OIZs.
Last month, we announced that industrialists’ access to investment areas would be easier with the change we made in the OIZ regulation.
The first implementation of the regulation, which stipulates that OIZ parcels that have not yet been allocated will be presented to investors online for allocation on the first Monday of each month, takes place in October.
With the regulation that will create a supply-side increase in investment lands, we aim to both accelerate investments and prevent the increase in land prices.
“OIZs will be managed more transparently, and our industrialists will have easier access to investment location alternatives.”
