INFLATION WILL BE ANNOUNCED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE FESTIVAL
Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) will announce the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data to the public on Friday, June 5, at 10:00 on the occasion of Eid al-Adha this month.
May and annual inflation will be determined with the data.
RETIRED HAS ALREADY POCKETED A 14.64 PERCENT INCREASE
According to the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute, January inflation was 4.84 percent, February inflation was 2.96 percent and March inflation was 1.94 percent. The consumer price index increased by 4.18 percent in April. Thus, according to 4-month inflation, there was a 14.64 percent raise for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees. SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees pocketed at least a 14.64 percent raise.
According to the 4-month increase rate, the monthly base for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will increase from 20,000 TL to 22,928 TL. A SSK and BAĞ-Kur retiree who receives 25 thousand TL monthly will increase to 28 thousand 660 TL in July, and a retiree who receives 30 thousand TL will increase to 34,392 TL.
