Drawing attention to the second half of the year for Bitcoin, Memiş said, “On the Bitcoin side, my positive expectations continue in the second half of the year. There remains uncertainty when they will trigger this process.” Stating that geopolitical developments are also effective in the crypto market, Memiş stated that harsh fluctuations may continue in the short term.
Stating that the markets have focused on the American-Iran tension in recent days, Memiş said that the incoming news flows caused sharp price movements: “This is how they deceived the market because the news of an agreement came on Tuesday last week. MTA prices came back. They rose again a day later. They created a serious manipulation market here.” Stating that the $4,850 level in gold is support and the $5,250 level is a broad band fluctuation area, Memiş argued that large investors benefited in this process.
Referring to the political developments in the USA, Memiş also made an evaluation about US President Donald Trump and said, “Trump’s powers were limited on Friday. There are midterm elections in November. I also expect Trump to change his language in the second half of the year. From now on, I expect him to make more down-to-earth statements rather than speaking from above.” Drawing attention to the talks held in Geneva, Memiş said that there were three scenarios for the markets: If an “agreed” result is obtained: “This time, declines in precious metals and rises in the stock market are inevitable.”
If the result is “We couldn’t agree”: “Geopolitical tension pricing, declines in the markets, increases in precious metals.” If the decision “We have extended the process” is made: “A fluctuating market in the broad band range awaits us again.” Arguing that the tensions between the USA and Iran will not end completely, Memiş made a remarkable prediction: “I personally expect America’s and Israel’s intervention in Iran, one way or another, in 2026. A regime change is ultimately desired there. It would not be surprising for me if there was news of an intervention.”
