The wooden stairs designed to provide visitors with access to the upper levels of the castle, located in the courtyard of the historical castle that gave its name to Kaleköy, a district of Kaş, pose a danger, while it remains unclear when precautions will be taken. It is noticeable that the railings and handrails on at least two levels have rotted, their connections have broken, and some of the steps have broken. Despite the dangerous situation that has emerged, it is also striking that only a few warning signs have been hung. Visitors to the historical castle say that if the stairs are not taken into urgent maintenance and the system is not repaired with more durable materials, a serious accident could occur.
