WhatsApp is working on a new update to allow users to respond to messages faster. With the WhatsApp beta 2.24.16.7 update, Instagram’s famous feature will be added to WhatsApp.
The double-tap feature allows users to react to a message by simply double-tapping it. This feature is intended as a way to improve user engagement.
Users will be able to react instantly by double-tapping on the message and will not have to waste time opening the reaction screen.
Users who can react with a heart emoji by default will need to open the reaction screen if they want to react with a different emoji.
