Workers’ and civil servants’ salaries are taxed every year according to the income tax tariff. According to Habertürk’s news, the tax tariff will be increased according to the 43.93% Revaluation Rate announced yesterday. However, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has the authority to increase or decrease this rate by 50%.
This year, 15 percent of the earnings earned by wage earners up to 110 thousand TL, 20 percent for the part between 110,000 TL and 230,000 TL, 27 percent for the part between 230,000 TL and 870,000 TL, 35 percent for the part between 870,000 TL and 3,000,000 TL. A tax of 40 percent is applied to the amount exceeding 000 TL.
In this context, with an increase of 43.93 percent, income tax brackets will be as follows in 2025:
– 15 percent on earnings up to 158,000 TL,
– 20 percent on earnings between 158,000 TL and 330,000 TL,
– 27 percent for earnings between 330,000 TL and 1,250,000 TL,
– 35 percent for earnings between 1,250,000 TL and 4,300,000 TL,
– 40 percent for earnings over 4,300,000 TL.
