Foreigners sold $647 million worth of shares last week

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye published “Weekly Securities Statistics”.

Accordingly, non-residents sold $647.6 million worth of stocks and $23.8 million worth of Sector Issues Other than General Government (ÖST) last week, and purchased $156.7 million worth of Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDDS).

The stock of non-residents decreased from 43 billion 263.9 million dollars to 40 billion 908.9 million dollars in the week of September 4.

In the same period, the government securities stock of non-residents increased from 17 billion 834.2 million dollars to 18 billion 58.9 million dollars.

ÖST stock decreased from 4 billion 498.6 million dollars to 4 billion 458.3 million dollars.
