The decision regarding expropriation of the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG) of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources was published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, MAPEG, which evaluated TPAO’s application, decided to expropriate various parcels in the Central district of Adıyaman, which are necessary for the oil process and whose expropriation is in the public interest, which cannot be purchased by agreement due to the demand for a price above the market rate, and on which there is an urgent seizure decision.
In addition, a decision was made to expropriate the parcel required for the natural gas pipeline planned to be built in the exploration license held by TPAO on the borders of Kırklareli and Edirne.
MAPEG will expropriate the 983.14 square meter part of the parcel in Babaeski district of Kırklareli, which is necessary for the oil process and whose expropriation is in public interest, which cannot be purchased by agreement due to the demand for a price above the market rate, and on which there is an urgent seizure decision.
