Ordu Chamber of Agriculture Provincial Coordination Board President Arslan Soydan said in the press conference he held at the Altınordu Chamber of Agriculture that they made decisions regarding wages by meeting under the chairmanship of the coordination board.
Soydan, who stated that the daily wage of a worker in Ordu is determined as 800 liras, with meals to be paid by the worker, said, “The daily wage of a cook for 10-15 workers is 800 liras, and a sackman is 900 liras. For workers 15 and above, the cook is 900 liras, and a sackman is 1000 liras. In gardens where food is collected per kilo, the sackman is 1000 liras, and the muleteer is 1600 liras. The collection fee based on weight is 8 liras per kilo.”
Soydan, who stated that the hourly wage of the thresher is 2 thousand 500 liras, said, “A recommendation decision of 900 liras for up to 15 workers, including the intermediary and the chief, and 1000 liras for more than 15 workers has been taken by our Chambers of Agriculture. May it be beneficial and auspicious for our producers, employees, workers, the public, and the sector.”
At the meeting, Soydan was accompanied by the chairmen of the Chamber of Agriculture in the districts.
