Central Bank reserves decreased

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) reached 184 billion 247 million dollars in the week of September 4, with a decrease of 3 billion 951 million dollars compared to the previous week.

CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics.

Accordingly, as of September 4, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 703 million dollars to 70 billion 406 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 71 billion 109 million dollars on August 28.

During this period, gold reserves decreased by 3 billion 248 million dollars, from 117 billion 89 million dollars to 113 billion 841 million dollars.

Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 3 billion 951 million dollars in the week of September 4 compared to the previous week, from 188 billion 198 million dollars to 184 billion 247 million dollars.
