According to backstage information provided by Türkiye Newspaper writer İsa Karakaş, the legal regulation that will reduce the number of Bağ-Kur premium days, which small tradesmen have been waiting for a long time, from 9 thousand to 7 thousand 200, is expected to come into force next year.
It was stated that cost determination and actuarial calculations were completed for the tradesmen who were victimized by the opening of the premium gap between SSK and Bağ-Kur following the Retirement Retirement Persons (EYT) regulation.
With the entry into force of the EYT law, the age requirement for employees who were insured before September 8, 1999 was eliminated and SSK members gained the right to retire with premiums between 5 thousand and 5 thousand 975 days. The tradesman from Bağ-Kur (4/1-b), who works independently on his own behalf, was stuck with the retirement opportunity by having to complete 9 thousand premium days. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s promise before the election that tradesmen’s 9,000-day premium requirement will be reduced to 7,200 days, that is, 5 years (1,800 days) less, forms the basis of the expectations of approximately 1 million tradesmen.
The regulation, which was kept on hold due to the fight against inflation in the economy and the Medium Term Program (MTP) discipline that has been implemented resolutely for the last 3 years, considering the budget balance, has come to an end. According to the information İsa Karakaş obtained from his sources, all cost and actuarial calculations regarding premium equalization have been finalized. The legislative proposal is at the stage of being prepared and submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly, and according to backstage information, it is anticipated that the reform will be enacted and come into force next year.
