Hard sell at Borsa Istanbul! Bank stocks became the basis

15:13 – Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index lost 2.62 percent of its value in the first half of the day, falling to 10,926.54 points. As the hours passed 15:00, sales deepened in Borsa Istanbul! The decline in bank stocks exceeded 5 percent!

While the BIST100 Index decreased by 3.30 percent to 10,844 points, the banking index lost 4.64 percent of its value. As for the banks, Akbank became the base with 4.80 percent, İş Bank with 4.75 percent, and Yapı Kredi Bank with 4.80 percent and the circuit was cut off.

Borsa Istanbul is closing the sixth week in a row with losses. This trend occurred again after 18 years. The last consecutive losses occurred during the 2008 financial crisis.
