Agricultural engineer and producer Mine Yılmaz stated that thanks to this year’s autumn rains and favorable weather conditions, saffron bloomed 1-1.5 weeks earlier.
Collection will be made every day during the work in the field, which will last approximately 45 days and continue until mid-November.
Producer İsmail Yılmaz announced that they are selling the new season saffron for 800 liras per gram and 800 thousand liras per kilogram. Approximately 15 kilograms of harvest is targeted this season from the production carried out in an area of 20 decares.
