The latest information leaked from Apple clears the fog over the foldable iPhone model that the technology world has been waiting for years. The company is expected to showcase its first foldable device, which is likely to be called “iPhone Fold” or “iPhone Ultra” with the iPhone 18 family, at the launch in September. However, achieving this new technology seems to require both time and a serious budget.

Industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo points out that Apple may follow a road map similar to that of the iPhone X launch in 2017. Even if the device hits the scene in September, it is possible that sales will extend to the end of the year or even the first months of the following year due to the gradual progress of production.
