Daily passenger record at Istanbul Airport

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that Istanbul Airport served 289 thousand 732 passengers yesterday, reaching the highest daily passenger number of all time in Türkiye and Europe.

Uraloğlu shared the issue on his social media account.

Stating that Istanbul Airport renewed its record at the top, Uraloğlu said:

“Our Istanbul Airport once again recorded the highest daily passenger number of all time in Turkey and Europe by serving 289 thousand 732 passengers on August 9. We are reinforcing Istanbul’s central position in global aviation with the strong transportation infrastructure we have established.”
