According to information shared by 9to5Mac, Meta began testing the first elements of the Liquid Glass design shortly after the release of iOS 26. This change, which was first seen in certain areas in the bottom navigation bar and chats tab, now goes deeper into the application.

Design inspired by Apple’s current aesthetic approach; It attracts attention with translucent effects and smoother transitions. Previous beta versions have seen revamped voicemail players and transparent interface elements; The new update turns the focus directly to user interactions.
