Marco Rubio imitates an outfit worn by the former Venezuelan president. Most recently, Nike benefited when the picture of Maduro being arrested in a tracksuit went viral.

Rubio’s choice of clothing provokes reactions
Maduro’s outfit went viral in early January after Trump posted a photo of his arrest wearing a Nike tracksuit on his Truth Social platform. The model then developed into an internet phenomenon. According to media reports, searches for “Nike Tech” increased significantly. Several sizes of the jacket were temporarily unavailable on Nike’s US site.

Describing Rubio’s choice of clothing as a full-circle moment, the White House released a video on X in which he mocked the former Venezuelan leader shortly after the successful operation against Maduro. Rubio’s appearance sparked numerous reactions on social networks. Users created memes, calling the look “Maduromaxxing” and making fun of the foreign minister’s casual attire: “Will Marco be the DJ for the flight?”
Rubio has become a viral topic on social networks several times in recent weeks. Earlier this month, White House staff released videos showing him DJing at a family gathering.
