According to the information obtained from İŞKUR, supports continue to be offered to increase women’s participation in the labor force and to ensure sustainable employment.

What are the requirements?

Half a working practice, the woman who gives birth and the child who is not 3 years of age can benefit from the child or a man who adopts.

In order to benefit from the appropriation, the payment of at least 600 days of unemployment insurance premium in the last 3 years before the date of birth or adoption and the actual working conditions are required for half of the weekly working time.

In order to benefit from the allowance of those who meet these requirements, he must apply to İŞKUR personally or through e-Government/İşkur e-connection within 30 days after the end of the motherland permission.

Insurance premiums are covered by the Unemployment Insurance Fund

The employer does not have the authority to prevent the worker’s request for half a work. The employer determines the day and time intervals of half a work and employs the worker within the scope of the application.

The half -working time is applied 60 days in the first birth, 120 days in second birth and 180 days in subsequent births. This period, which is added for 30 days in plural births, is increased to 360 days if the child is born with a disability. Half work allowance is paid and paid half of these periods.

The beneficiaries of the said support are covered by the Unemployment Insurance Fund on the lower limit of the premium -based earnings of the general health insurance premiums, disability, old age and death insurances and general health insurance premiums.
