FITCH Türkiye CREDIT RATING?

Fitch Ratings announced its assessment of the Turkish economy. The credit rating agency announced that Turkey’s long-term foreign currency credit rating was upgraded from “B+” to “BB-“, while the outlook for the rating was determined as “stable”.

The statement noted that positive real interest rates, low current account deficits and the gradual decline in foreign exchange-protected deposits will likely support the permanence of the improvement in external buffers, and that reserves are projected to rise to $158 billion by the end of this year and $165 billion by the end of 2025.
