Trade sales volume increased by 7.2 percent on an annual basis in October, and retail sales volume increased by 15 percent.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the trade sales volume index for October.
Accordingly, trade sales volume decreased by 1.9 percent compared to the previous month. In this period, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 1.4 percent and the retail trade sales volume increased by 0.2 percent, while the wholesale trade sales volume decreased by 3.4 percent.
Trade sales volume increased by 7.2 percent in October compared to the same month last year. In the same period, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 9.2 percent, wholesale trade sales volume increased by 3.8 percent and retail trade sales volume increased by 15 percent.
