Ukraine is systematically trying to eliminate the oil industry of the aggressor Russia. Some of the large industrial plants are hit many times.
The Ukrainian army says it has once again attacked the refinery in the Russian city of Saratov on the Volga with drones. The General Staff in Kiev said explosions and fires were observed at the facility. The Russian Telegram channel Astra confirmed the attack, based on video footage from Saratov. It was the seventh attack this year on the refinery, which belongs to the US-sanctioned oil company Rosneft.
Officially, regional governor Roman Bussargin spoke on Telegram only of an attack on a civilian object in the district of Saratov where the refinery is located. He spoke of an injured person.
The Ukrainian General Staff named the oil loading facility at the port of Feodosiya on the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, which was annexed by Russia, as another target. In its defensive battle, Ukraine is trying to systematically weaken the Russian oil industry.
During the night, Russian drone attacks primarily hit the Ukrainian port city of Odessa on the Black Sea. According to the regional administration, parts of the power network, railway systems and administrative buildings were damaged.
