Millions of SSK, Bağ-Kur and civil servant retirees focused on the salary increase to be made in January 2027. The new increase rates will become clear with the inflation data for October, November and December to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Two different increase methods are being evaluated for millions of people receiving the lowest pension.
TWO FORMULA FOR RETIREMENT INCREASE
The first option for the increase in pensions in January is to increase the lowest pension by the rate of 6-month inflation.
The second option is to make an additional adjustment to the minimum pension above the inflation increase. Legal regulation is required for this method to be implemented.
There is no final decision yet for either option.
THREE-MONTH INFLATION DIFFERENCE HAS BEEN CLEAR
According to the data announced by TÜİK for July, August and September, the three-month inflation increase of SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees was calculated as 5.57 percent.
The exact increase rate to be applied in January will be revealed when the data for October, November and December are announced.
In addition to the collective agreement increase, the inflation difference that may occur will be the determining factor in the salary increase of civil servants and retired civil servants.
HOW MUCH SALARY WILL A RETIRED EARNING OF 23 THOUSAND 552 TL RECEIVE?
It is wondered how much the minimum pension, which was increased from 20 thousand TL to 23 thousand 552 TL in July, will be in January.
An example calculation that may arise if the current minimum monthly salary is increased according to different raise rates is as follows:
10 percent increase: 25 thousand 907 TL
12 percent increase: 26 thousand 378 TL
15 percent increase: 27 thousand 85 TL
20 percent increase: 28 thousand 262 TL
The figures in question are not final raise amounts, but rather calculations based on possible increase rates.
