Kaan is the first domestic fifth generation fighter aircraft in Türkiye, developed by Turkish Aeronautics and Space Industry (TUSAŞ). Kaan, who successfully made his first flight on February 21, 2024, stayed in the air for 13 minutes and reached a height of 8,000 feet and reached a speed of 230 knots. Kaan’s technical features include double -engine structure, advanced radar absorbent materials and artificial intelligence -supported avionics systems. The maximum speed Mach 1.8 has a 55,000 feet service ceiling. It can also carry more than F-35 with a 10-ton weapon carrying capacity. Kaan is planned to replace Türkiye’s aging F-16 fleet and enter the Turkish Air Force inventory since 2028.
Anka-3 is a unmanned aerial vehicle developed by TUSAŞ and has a low radar visibility in Türkiye with the first jet motor. The ANKA-3, which made its first flight on 28 December 2023, stayed in the air for 1 hour and 10 minutes. On September 20, 2024, he successfully completed his first live ammunition test.
The technical specifications of Anka-3 include a maximum departure weight of 6,500 kg, 1,200 kg useful load capacity and 40,000 feet maximum altitude. It provides activities for long -range tasks with a period of 10 hours of air.
