Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated in his written statement that the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Land Transport Joint Commission (KUKK) Meeting was held.
Pointing out that 81 percent of the exports from Turkey to Azerbaijan are made by land, Uraloğlu said, “The transit pass document quota between Turkey and Azerbaijan was increased from 35 thousand to 100 thousand. Pointing out that digital integration has been achieved between the two countries, Uraloğlu said:
“The use of electronic pass documents has begun between our countries. The first Turkish vehicle for which an electronic pass document was issued during the trial campaign entered Azerbaijan on December 14, 2024. Thus, after Uzbekistan, the use of electronic pass documents began with Azerbaijan. Electronic pass document “The quota was determined as 15 thousand for transit transportation and 500 for bilateral transportation. As the integration studies progressed, it was decided to convert the quotas determined for physical documents into electronic documents.”
